When The Tables Turn

“Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees. But NOW it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.” Job 4:3-5

What we say we believe and have taught others will be put to the test in our own lives. That is one reason why it is so very important that our beliefs and convictions are based on the authority of God’s Word. Then, when the challenges come and maybe even questions in our minds, we can grab hold, with full assurance, to the unchanging Word of God!

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life, When the clouds unfold their wings of strife? When the strong tides lift and the cables strain, Will your anchor drift, or firm remain?

Refrain – We have an anchor that keeps the soul, Steadfast and sure while the billows roll, Fastened to the Rock which cannot move, Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.
