Sunday Thought

In any relationship, when an individual has wronged someone and apologizes for the wrong they have done, that individual does not need to go back and apologize a second time…a third time…a fourth time, etc. for the same offense. God only requires that we confess one time for a sin and He forgives. Why should man’s standards be higher than God’s?  If we have sincerely confessed and the same offense gets brought up again, we can be sure it is not from God.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9
