Sunday Thoughts

After the Lord gave us a “living illustration” for this morning’s message (by filling the altars during the special singing) our Pastor preached a convicting message on “How To Get Your Children On The Altar” from Genesis 22:1-9  A few thoughts from the message:

* Our children need to be LED to God by us, not sent to God.

* Children –  be very careful how you judge your parents. God tells you to honor them, not correct them.

* Parents do not have the right or responsibility to testify for their children. If they get saved, they will want to tell it.

* Our children should carry some spiritual weight if they claim salvation.

* The things we are pouring our life into right now…will it lead our children TO the altar or AWAY from the altar?
