Praying Mothers

(I read this yesterday and wanted to share…how very powerful and convicting!)

“Praying mothers have been the finest recruiting officers for the pulpit and mission field the church has ever had. We do not have the same quality and caliber in the ministry today, despite the fact that educational advantages are plentiful. Is it mere chance that this is so? What mother, emerging from a prayer session with the Eternal God, could engage at meal time in frivolous talk about salaries, fame, and assured futures, when the cause of Christ and its tremendous needs have just been permeating the very fibers of her soul?”
