The Finish Line

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”  Acts 20:24

Paul desired to finish the course that God had set before him; he would not allow “these things”…in this case, further persecution…to move him off course. Will we allow GOD to determine when we have reached our finish line, or will we allow people or circumstances to determine when we are done? God’s finish line is when He calls us home. Let’s not stop short, but determine to live for Him ALL our days.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”  II Timothy 4:7
