Sunday Thought

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”  John 9:4

We enjoyed having Br. David Maynard and Sis Maynard with us in our services today. This afternoon’s message was directed toward the believers as he preached on “Time Wasted or Time Well Spent”. Thinking on it again this evening has reminded me of the following quote:

“I am not afraid of failure; I am afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.” ~William Carey

We only have one life, and none of us know how long that will be – but even a “long” life down here is but a vapor in light of eternity. May we each have the desire to live for Christ, for that is a life well spent!
