Let’s Vote!

“Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in MY days?” II Kings 20:19

The above verse is King Hezekiah’s response upon hearing of the judgment that would come after his death. Hezekiah was a good king…and maybe I am being too harsh…but every time I read this, I want to say, “Well, that’s great that you will not have to see the judgment of God….but what about your children….your grandchildren??” As Christians in America, we are losing our freedoms left and right. I know that, ultimately, GOD is in control and whatever HE allows will be good and right for this country. BUT…I also truly believe it is OUR responsibility to do what we can and aside from HUMBLING OURSELVES…PRAYING…SEEKING GOD’S FACE…TURNING FROM OUR WICKED WAYS…  Aside from all of that, we can VOTE!!

Maybe, our lives as parents and grandparents haven’t become TOO uncomfortable yet…maybe we ARE still enjoying freedoms. Today, let’s think about the FUTURE generations…our own little ones and what they may be facing if the Lord does not return. Today, let’s VOTE!
