It Pays To Be Prudent!
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.” Proverbs 22:3
The above verse is a great reminder of the rewards of prudence. The definition for prudent is:
“Cautious; circumspect; practically wise; careful of the consequences of enterprises, measures or actions; cautious not to act when the end is of doubtful utility, or probably impracticable.” (taken from the 1828 Webster’s dictionary)
Obedience to God’s Word – the source of all wisdom – will bring about prudence in a person’s life! Are you reading and heeding God’s Word each day? It really does pay to be prudent!
