The Right Kind Of Busy

“Idleness is an invitation to temptation.” ~ A.W. Tozer

I just read the above quote a bit ago and it reminded me of something I have tried to instill in my girls.

Busy hands? Yes!

“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you” I Thessalonians 4:11

Busybodies? No!

“And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.” I Timothy 5:13 

Idleness is a real danger – let’s learn to keep our hands productively busy!
