The Word In Song

This morning, I woke up with a song running through my mind – it included the following verse.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 

I have no idea who put the tune to this verse, but I thank the Lord for the peace and assurance it brought this morning. What a wonderful, comforting God we serve!

“Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8
