Happy Mother’s Day!!
My mother lives in WV and I have lived in NC all 35+ yrs of my married life. All my memories of Mom are that of a virtuous woman. At 8 yrs of age, she is the one who led me to the Lord in our living room. Her life can be described as serving others.
Just a few of the things I have heard her say often:
“Why worry when you can pray?”
“I had to get lost before I could be saved”
“Let’s pray one for another”
Lord willing, Mom will be 94 years old next month. She continues to serve others – playing the piano, writing notes of encouragement, etc…and most of all, being a prayer warrior.
Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom! I thank the Lord for the godly influence she has had on my life.
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” Proverbs 31:28-31
