Right On Time

The other morning, I received texts from two different ladies who are going through some trying circumstances. Both of these texts contained the thought of God’s timing being PERFECT!

This morning, as I read in Esther, I was reminded of those two texts:

“On that night could not the king sleep…” Esther 6:1

I absolutely love the story of Esther and get so excited when I come to this part of the story! On THAT night…the night before wicked Haman intended to have Mordecai hanged…on THAT night, the king could not sleep! If you are not familiar with the story, you must read it!

A few weeks ago, Bethany began working on a new song for the girls at church. I am not sure who wrote the song, but I like the truth that it presents – God is ALWAYS right on time!

They sent for Jesus, your friend’s about to die.
But tarried He still on behind.
So they laid Lazarus in a tomb and said their last good-bye.
Then coming down the road was Jesus right on time.

Just hold on my child because He’s not too far away.
And He knows your need before you pray.
So when your feet are weary, from the mountain you have climbed,
Look ahead here comes Jesus right on time.

I’ve struggled through life’s deserts; they were so hot and dry.
Till it seemed all hope was lost and I would die.
And I wondered where was He, was He still a friend of mind?
Then coming down the road was Jesus right on time.
