Isaiah 30:18

The verse in the devotional pictured below, from Thoughts for the Quiet Hour, is one that the Lord has used in my life several times in the last few months. When we are tempted to get impatient concerning an answer to prayer, we must remind ourselves – God’s timing is perfect. When we want things NOW, God may be waiting. His reasons for waiting may vary – to grow us, to grow others, etc. Bottom line, His waiting is always for our good. On the heels of last evening’s post, don’t give up. Keep praying! Keep trusting!
