Stand – Jesus Never Fails – Stand

Yesterday morning, part of my personal devotions included the following from Still Higher for His Highest by Oswald Chambers:

Yesterday afternoon, my daughter walked over to me and very calmly but assuredly said:

“Jesus never fails”

I was loading the dishwasher at the time and didn’t quite hear her above the clattering of dishes.

“Hmmm?”

“Jesus never fails, Mom”, she repeated while adding, “and I don’t want you to forget it.”

Last night’s message was titled “Will You Be Able To Stand?” The 3 points of the message were:

Will You Be Able To Stand In Your Religion?

Will You Be Able To Stand When Your World Crumbles?

Will You Be Able To Stand In The Judgment?

The message ended with the very same verse from this morning’s devotional:

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Eph.6:13

Yesterday, the Lord bookended a very precious promise to me – “Jesus Never Fails” – with one simple but decisive word – “Stand”.

My day could be summarized in 5 words:

Stand – Jesus Never Fails – Stand

This morning, will we be able to stand? If our foundation is Christ alone then yes, we will! He is our Solid Rock – a Sure Foundation that will not crumble! Even if others forsake us, Jesus never will. As long as we are standing on Truth, we can be assured that we are not alone. Not only will the Lord stand with us, but He will also continue to strengthen us. What an encouragement to my heart this morning! ❤️
