Nana’s Lil Firecrackers
This Nana sure is missing her lil firecrackers. They’re celebrating with their families in other parts of the country this Fourth of July so what’s a Nana to do? Post pictures of them, of course! 🙂
Those sweet little faces melt my heart, that’s for sure! I love each of them so much!
Today, I have found myself thinking about our country. I love America – I am so very thankful for the freedoms we have enjoyed for so many years…freedoms that I fear we have taken for granted until recently. And even now, are we truly concerned about the direction our country is headed? Am I concerned about the direction my country is headed? If the Lord does not come back soon, will my grandchildren grow up in a “new normal America”?
Even though circumstances in this great land have rapidly deteriorated – in recent months especially – I am not one who believes there is no hope for America. God is still able to send revival; perhaps all of this turmoil and unrest that we are seeing is actually His way of answering the prayers of many burdened believers across the country. Perhaps He is waking Christians up. I do know this –
Our country is in desperate need of healing.
God is able to heal our land.
Humility must come before healing.
Today, as we celebrate the birthday of this wonderful nation, let’s also take time to look at our children…our grandchildren. Look at their faces. As we reflect on their future, let’s get honest. Are we willing to humble ourselves – for their sakes?
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

I don’t believe there is no hope either.
We serve a great and mighty God that can turn the tide at any moment.
I love seeing your little firecrackers. I’m content and peaceful not having any of my own because of this wicked world. But if God chooses to bless, you better believe they’ll get a lot of Jesus in their little lives from this Maw! ♥️♥️♥️
