Faithful Ladies Daycation 2020!

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”‭1 Peter 5:10

After spending the first part of last week in WV with Mom/MawMaw, we headed west to Indiana to attend the 2020 Faithful Ladies Daycation at Faithway Baptist Church! Let me tell ya, we had been looking forward to this for weeks and were beyond excited! Due to Covid restrictions, we had really missed being able to attend annual meetings and were so excited to learn that this special time for ladies was still happening! What a blessing it was to hear what the Lord had for us as well as see friends!

The verse at the beginning of this post was the theme of the ladies daycation. We laughed. We cried. We laughed till we cried. The Lord gave us exactly what we needed – He is so very FAITHFUL!

On Sunday, we were able to attend both services at Faithway Baptist Church. That afternoon, we got to have a real quick visit with our son-in-law who was preaching at two different churches in KY – it was great to see him! I’m very thankful for the opportunity the Lord gave.
