Treasure Hunt!

Yesterday morning, we headed back up to WV and were very thankful for clear roads in spite of snow showers along the way.

Before we got out of NC, we stopped at our favorite bookstore to hunt for some treasures.

As you can see, our hunt was very successful! Praise the Lord! 🙌🏻

I actually found a book that I thought Mom would really enjoy too.

I was right. We gave the book to her last night before she went to bed and early this morning I found her sitting in her recliner, reading it. ❤️ Mom used to listen to the Old Fashioned Revival Hour broadcast years ago. (She had an uncle who was a preacher out in California that had a broadcast as well – on the same station!) When I asked her if she was enjoying the book, she said she was but also said that she hadn’t found Rudy yet. She was referring to her favorite pianist, Rudy Atwood. 😁

We’re very thankful for our ”new to us” treasures and look forward to gleaning from them! God is good!!
