Kissing or Cleaving?

“…and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.”
‭‭Ruth‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Orpah gave Naomi a kiss.
Ruth clave to her.
Orpah showed passion.
Ruth was resolved.
There is a difference.
