Friend Test

~ Friend Test ~

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”  Proverbs 27:17

Just as continual chopping of wood will eventually dull an ax, continual “rubbing shoulders” with the wrong crowd will dull our spiritual awareness. Two questions:

1.What am I made of? (what effect do I have on my friends)

2.What are my friends made of? (what effect do they have on me)

Iron sharpens; wood dulls. With God’s help, let’s not only be mindful of who our close friends are; lets also purpose ourselves to be “Iron Christians” and not little wooden toy soldiers.
