Hypocrisy And The Spider’s Web – C.H. Spurgeon 

I recently purchased a new devotional book at the Sword Conference and have enjoyed adding it to my morning time with the Lord.

Because of the numerous spiderwebs I am constantly sweeping down from our long front porch, this morning’s devotional painted a very clear picture to me of the frail foundation upon which a religious hypocrite’s life is built. Oh…may we each examine ourselves – making sure that the salvation we claim is not based on ourselves but in Christ alone!
