Lefties Unite! ??
I’m still trying to decide just how to celebrate this special day – even though Left-Hander’s Day was first recognized in 1976, I must admit I’ve never given it much thought.
Hmmm…we could go out and buy some new quick-dry pens – to help prevent those hand smudges when we write. Or, we could just spend the day writing from right to left – that would take care of it! ?
Or, here’s a great idea – we could turn that spiral notebook over so that the spiral is on the RIGHT side! No spirals digging into our hands today! ?
Statistics show that about 10% of the world’s population are left-handed. That makes us pretty special, don’t you think? They also say that lefthandedness runs in families. Lefties in the British royal family include the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Prince William. Pretty impressive, aye? ?
Middle son, Joshua, is a leftie as well. I asked him to send me a left handed pic…
Now, if that was a donut, that would be lefthandedness at its best! ?
Happy Left-Hander’s Day, all you lefties!
“Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.” Judges 20:16
